The Rock Exotica Rescue Eight Descender F3 is a Figure eight with side ears that help provide more friction and stopping power. Machined from a solid block, the Rescue 8 Descender is made from durable T6 7075 aluminum, which is harder and will last longer than the cheaper alloy used for many other figure eights. Although it's the bigger brother of the Rock Exotica Mini Eight F1, the Eight Descender F3 still weighs just 6.4 ounces and measures a compact 6 inches high by 6 1/4 inches wide. The F3 boasts a breaking strength of 22 kN. Milled edges and machined surfaces provide flat, smooth surfaces.
