Connecting to positioning lanyards and descenders is simplified with the Petzl Am'D H-Frame Ball-Lock Carabiner available at OmniProGear. This lightweight aluminum carabiner's asymmetric D shape makes it ideally suited for connection to diverse tree equipment. Handling is also less of a chore than before because of the fluid interior design and the Keylock system that keeps the carabiner from inadvertently snagging on something. The ball-lock locking system has a triple action gate opening that is automatic and which includes a lock indicator. Markings are insulated from risk to abrasion and the strength-to-weight ratio is boosted by the carabiner's 'H' cross-section. It has a major axis strength of 27 kN and a gate opening of 25mm. Guaranteed for three years by the manufacturer, the Petzl Am'D H-Frame Carabiner has CE EN 362 and EAC certifications.
