The Petzl Rollclip is perfect if you're looking for a non-locking pulley carabiner to use during short ascents. Specifically designed for use as a directional point on the ascension handled rope clamp, it may be used with a CAPTIV positioning bar to load the carabiner along its major axis to limit the risk of flipping. The carabiner gate is upside down, so keep that in mind when placing your order. This carabiner is made of aluminum and ensures an improved strength-to-weight ratio. It's designed for use with a rope measuring between 7 and 13 millimeters. The sheave diameter is 18 millimeters. The maximum working load is 2x2 = 4 kN. Major axis strength is 20 kN, minor axis strength is 8 kN and open gate strength is 7 kN.
