This kernmantle composite rope, available in bright yellow and lime green, boasts a shock-absorbent nylon core and a high abrasion-resistant polyester cover that is flexible and offers exceptional holding power for tying prusik knots. Tandem prusik cords measure at around 53 inches and 65 inches (without knots) equaling 130 inches, just less than 11 feet. The 11 feet in this package should be sufficient enough to create your own single or tandem prusik cords for most variations. Keep in mind that the correct length for each cord is determined by the size of the pulley. Your smaller cord should nest up against the pulley with about a half-inch of space while the longer cord should be about 5 inches below the bottom of the smaller cord. The cord's MBS is 16.44kN (3,700 pounds).
